Car key burglar jailed for four years after being caught within minutes of stealing a Mercedes in Sparkbrook

A car key burglar has been jailed after being caught trying to speed away in a Mercedes he’d stolen minutes earlier. Tyron Murdoch raced through residential roads in Erdington before crashing into a parked car. The 25 year old was sentenced to four years at Coventry Crown Court.

Driverless bus trials at Birmingham Airport

Birmingham Airport is trialing driverless buses over the next six weeks. Last year Solihull became the first local authority to purchase its own fully electric autonomous shuttle. The trial at Birmingham airport will see the shuttle transport passengers along a more complex route while interacting with other road users.
