Cadbury owner reduces operations in Russia amid Ukraine crisis

The owner of Cadbury’s has said that it will be reducing operations in Russia following the invasion of Ukraine beyond anything non-essential. They will continue to supply food and support workers but are suspending advertising and new capital investments.

Tributes to man killed at Asda in Redditch

Tributes have been paid to a man who was stabbed to death outside Asda in Redditch. 53 year old Ian Kirwan was found critically injured after the attack - which is said to have happened after he accidentally bumped into a gang of youths outside of the supermarket. A 14 year old boy has since been charged with murder.

72 school children from across Birmingham join the Commonwealth Day celebrations at Alexander Stadium

In celebration of Commonwealth Day, future stars tried out the track at the newly formed Alexander stadium along with 72 school children from across the city. Each pupil represented one of the nations and territories that will participate in the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
