Teenage boy dies following collision

A 13 year old boy has sadly died following a collision in Northfield on Friday. The incident happened on Groveley Lane at 8:15pm and the driver remained at the scene. No arrests have been made and police are working to establish exactly what happened.

Arrests made after violent football clashes

Five people were arrested this Saturday following the football match between Birmingham City and Millwall. Bricks, bottles and other objects were used as weapons, leading officers to wear public order helmets, use shields and draw their batons. More arrests are expected in the coming weeks, and those involved have been advised to hand themselves in.

Police provide escort for stranded hen party

A hen party who were forced to abandon their limousine following a breakdown on the Aston Expressway were given a police escort. The Central Motorway Police Group tweeted a photograph of the limousine, wishing the party a less eventful wedding day journey.
