Two other men fled the store and drove off. However, officers attended an address in Hall Green, linked to the car they were in, and arrested another man on suspicion of theft.

A suspected cannabis factory was also discovered at the address and a 32-year-old man was further arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis.

Both men were in police custody until last evening.
