Severn Trent Water is dealing with water issues in Northfield and Kings Norton
Two areas of Birmingham are facing disruption to water supplies this afternoon (October 22).
Residents in Northfield (B38) and Kings Norton (B45) are dealing with no supply, poor pressure or discoloured water.
Severn Trent Water became aware of the issues in Northfield at around 12.40pm after essential repair works caused disruption the supplier didn’t anticipate.

A spokesperson said: “We didn’t anticipate this affecting our customers, we are aware that some customer’s supplies have now been impacted. The team on site are committed to getting this resolved quickly and efficiently so the water supply is back to normal as soon as possible.
“We’re very sorry for any inconvenience this may be causing and are confident this repair will be completed by 3pm.”
The issues in Kings Norton, which were reported around 12.45pm, have been investigated and Severn Trent Water is working to resolve the issues.
