Man dies after falling from Touchwood Solihull car park

A man died after falling from a great height in a car park in Solihull.

The John Lewis store was reportedly shut for a few hours after the incident yesterday (March 23) morning. Police were called to the John Lewis car park at Touchwood Solihull after the incident.

West Midlands Police said: “We were called to Touchwood car-park, Solihull at 11.45am yesterday (Thursday) to reports that a man had fallen. Sadly, the man died at the scene. The death is not being treated as suspicious and will be passed to the coroner.”

Some roads were closed after the incident but were opened soon after and the store has gone back to its usual timings. It will be open from 9.30am to 6pm today.
