Thomas Maguire: two arrested for murder following hit and run in Birmingham

Police investigating a fatal hit-and-run in Kingstanding last month have made two further arrests.
Thomas Maguire, aged 30, was on a motorbike which was hit by a Ford Focus on Kings Road on Wednesday 18 May.

Hide AdHe was in hospital in a critical condition but died on Thursday (9 June).
A 39-year-old woman previously arrested as part of the investigation has been re-arrested on suspicion of murder along with a 16-year-old girl, also arrested on suspicion of murder.
They are both in police custody.
In total nine people have now been arrested in connection with the collision and the death of Thomas.
Detective Inspector Michelle Thurgood, from our homicide team, said: “These arrests are a significant development as our investigation continues.
