The development has just been approved for Help to Buy (HTB) which is brilliant news for first time buyers looking for a cool city centre pad.

The homes are ideally located adjacent to Birmingham’s Theatre District, China Town, LGBTQ Quarter and within proximity of Birmingham’s Grand Central Station.

A one bedroom apartment at Priory House costs from £180,000, so the development sits well within the regional HTB limit of £255,600.

A total of 36 of the apartments are eligible for HTB - and already over 20% of the 79 have been snapped up.

These apartments look really affordable, but any problems with cladding - or anything like that?

Addressing the current major concerns in the apartment market, Priory House comes with a 250 year lease and with no external cladding or combustible material is expected to be offered with an ‘A’ grade EWS1 rating.

Prices at Priory House range from £180,000 for a one bedroom apartment to £625,000 for the penthouse apartment.

Already 18 apartments have been reserved off-plan and Elevate expect this to accelerate as the market leading build quality becomes apparent.

The interiors look amazing, but what about outside?

The development has landscaped communal gardens and balconies, providing much sought-after outside space, and the overall style and aesthetic has much in common with Elevate’s first Birmingham project, the very successful Concord House on Holloway Head.

Priory House also has a bike store for all apartments and the option of gated parking for the larger and more expensive plots.

What have the property developers have said about Priory House in their own words?

David Hofton, Elevate’s sales and marketing director, said: “We have a great selection of apartments available with 36 of the remaining one-bedroom plots qualifying for Help to Buy and we are urging buyers not to miss out.

“Book your appointment for our Open Day on Saturday 19 February and be prepared to fall in love – with the choice apartments at Priory House.

“If you’re looking for your perfect match, you need look no further!”

Mr Hofton added: “Priory House is situated in Birmingham’s cultural heartland, and the Southside District embraces Chinatown, theatreland and the LGBTQ Quarter – providing an area as welcoming and individual as its residents.

“Southside is currently being transformed into the new ‘front door’ of Birmingham’s city centre by the £8.7 million Enterprise Zone Investment Plan, and with Priory House our vision has been to create a new address at the iconic epicentre of this emerging hotspot.”
