Two Birmingham establishments have been included in Harden’s 2024 top 100 best restaurants in the UK.

In the new Harden’s guide, a total of 30,000 reports are submitted from a survey of 2,500 diners. Restaurants at all price levels are listed: from street food vendors to the country’s most ambitious dining rooms, with 2,800 restaurants listed in total.

Harden’s is the UK’s original ‘user-generated content’ restaurant guide, with ratings derived statistically from an annual survey.

Which Birmingham restaurants feature in the guide?

In the leading annual diners poll of the 100 best UK restaurants, two Birmingham eateries feature in this year's list.

Adam's fine dining restaurant on Waterloo Street achieved the number 42 spot in the top 100 list, with the Wilderness in the Jewellery Quarter taking the number 62 spot.

Adam’s, run by Adam and Natasha Stokes, is a Michelin star eatery that is known for its world class wine list. The restaurant serves modern dishes and has a cellar consisting of modern and vintage wines sourced from across the globe. There’s a selection of Champagne and sparking wines including a Rose, Harrow & Hope from Marlow in Buckinghamshire.

The Wilderness is a fine dining restaurant by Alex Claridge, serving playful  British dishes with seasonal ingredients. They also have an extensive wine and cocktail menu.

Which restaurant was named number 1?

Simon Rogan’s L’Enclume in Cartmel, Cumbria has been voted the UK’s best restaurant. Outlaw's New Road, Port Isaac was named the second best with Andrew Fairlie, Gleneagles Hotel in Auchterarder the third best
