Birmingham is the ideal location for food lovers, with so much good quality and variety to offer in the city centre, as well as in many of the neighbourhoods.
Whether you want pub food or fine dining - there are many amazing restaurants in and around the city that are ready to meet your desires.
And, locals aren’t the only ones who want to try out the dining scene. Some of these restaurants, pubs, and cafes have been applauded by famous food critics from across the country. But with so many options, it’s not always easy where to choose to eat.
To make the task a little easier, BBC Good Food’s Tony Naylor dined across the city earlier this year, and has named his favourite restaurants, ranging from fine dining venues to eateries perfect for cheap eats with the kids.
