Teenager fatally stabbed in Small Heath named as Yahya Sharif

The teenager fatally stabbed in Small Heath has been named as Yahya Sharif. The 18 year old was found seriously injured Friday 10th December on Coventry Road, but despite best efforts by paramedics the boy was confirmed dead at the scene. Police have stated there is no clear motive, and are appealing for information.

Teenager who stabbed friend in Hamstead convicted of murder

A teenager who fatally stabbed a former friend during a knife fight in Hampstead has been convicted of murder. 18 year old Cameron Cheshire inflicted the fatal injury on Jack Barry in March this year.

He is due to be sentenced on Friday 17th December.

300 children struck by cars in Birmingham

Department for Transport figures have shown that between 2017 and 2020, 300 children were hit by vehicles in Birmingham. 84 of these children were seriously injured and 1 lost their life. Campaigners say that in light of the figures more should be done to educate child pedestrians about road safety.
