Sutton Coldfield: The moment two women lost in Sutton Park are found

West Midlands Police were alerted to the plight of two women who became lost in Sutton Park.
The force mobilised their local response unit and their drone technology to help find them.

Hide AdThe area was dark and damp and the women were becoming frightened as officers tried to find them.
They were visiting Birmingham from Bristol.
You can see how relieved they were to be found as they hug the officer who eventually locates them.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “Unfamiliar with the area, stuck in boggy ground & now dark - a scary situation for anyone.
“Even through the trees our thermal camera and skilled drone operators find the two after a lengthy search. Giving the officer a hug on the relief of being found.”
