West Midlands Police arrested four teenagers on Sunday night (July 16) as they investigate the murder of a 16-year-old boy in Stourbridge on Saturday evening.

All four – two men, aged 19, and two 16-year-old boys – remain in custody on suspicion of murder. One was arrested at his home address and three presented themselves at a police station.

The 16-year-old from Bartley Green was stabbed in Coventry Street, Stourbridge just before 7pm and was conveyed to Rowley Regis where an ambulance was called. Sadly nothing could be done to save him and he died at the scene. All cordons have now been lifted and police are exploring CCTV and conducting forensic enquiries.
