A man was charged with murder following a fatal stabbing in Sparkbrook earlier this week. He was remanded to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court today (29 September).

Mohammed Adam was arrested in connection with the death of 45-year-old Fuaad Husein in the early hours of Monday (26 September) morning.

Mr Husein was found with stab wounds in Stratford Road at around 12.50am. He was taken to hospital but sadly died a short time later, said the West Midlands Police.

Adam, aged 45 from Birmingham, was detained and last night (28 September) charged with murder.

A man previously arrested has been released without charge and the three others have been released under investigation while our enquiries continue.
