Touchwood Solihull shopping centre wins three prestigious awards, including Car Park of the Year

Touchwood Solihull is celebrating a triple victory after securing two wins at this year’s Sceptre Awards and one accolade at the Solihull Chamber of Commerce Awards 2023.

Since its opening in September 2001, Touchwood in Solihull has become one of the UK’s most exciting shopping and entertainment destinations. The award-winning, 650,000 square foot Midlands destination provides guests with an attractive and vibrant range of stores including John Lewis, Apple, Zara, and other designer brands such as TAG Heuer, Polestar, and Swarovski. The shopping centre is renowned for its elegant malls with fashion shows and music festivals being held on occasions.

What were the three awards that Touchwood Solihull has won recently?

Community Initiative of the Year – Wales & The Midlands - The shopping centre won at the 2023 Sceptre Awards on Thursday (October 19) with its Wellness Retreat gaining recognition.  Initially a one-week project launched in support of World Mental Health Day 2022, the retreat was so well received that it is now a permanent feature at Touchwood. It offers free coffee, cake, foot massages and most importantly, company for those in need of someone to talk to.

Car Park of the Year - at the same award ceremony, Touchwood won recognition for its car park with the judges describing the win as “no surprise”. The centre’s car park excels on all fronts, offering shop mobility, car valeting, electric vehicle charging and simple payment via the RingGo app to shoppers – all available with zero car crime space.

Excellence in Sales, Marketing & Communications - Solihull Chamber Awards 2023 awarded Touchwood on Friday, October 20, with the accolade further demonstrating the centre’s commitment to create an exciting and diverse destination for visitors both locally and nationally.
