Touchwood Solihull gets three new outlets: two shops and a cafe are opening at the shopping centre

Touchwood shopping centre in Solihull has announced the opening of two brand new stores in time for May half-term.

The 650,000 sq ft big shopping and entertainment complex in Solihull with more than 80 stores welcomed a new store on May 18 with more openings later this month. In total, three stores will open at Touchwood Solihull in May 2023 as an old favourite also returns.

A new Levi Strauss and Co store opened at Touchwood, offering a wide range of Levi’s clothing and accessories, including the famous 501 Original Jean, Trucker Jackets, and more. This will be Solihull’s first Levi’s® store. Currently, the brand has a factory outlet in Resorts World and Bullring in Birmingham. Global clothing brand Levi’s will be located on Crescent Arcade.

Guy Taylor, Site Manager for Levi’s Touchwood, added: “We are really excited to be opening a new store in Solihull and can’t wait to welcome customers through our doors!”

A former store will return to dazzle its customers yet again after a refit. Renowned jeweller Fraser Hart is re-opening its doors on May 20 following a store refit. Visitors can expect a range of luxury watches, diamonds, jewellery, and items for gifting. Fraser Hart’s Touchwood outlet is one of the brand’s 26 stores nationwide. The refurbished Fraser Hart can be found on Mill Lane Arcade.

Noel Coyle, CEO of Fraser Hart, commented: “We are delighted that our Touchwood showroom will reopen following a major investment in refurbishment.

“Featuring dedicated boutique areas for our luxury brands such as Tudor, TAG Heuer, Longines and Gucci, the store will also showcase our premium diamond and jewellery ranges – which include fully traceable mine to finger diamonds, our coveted Orchid Setting and our exclusive Lab Grown Diamond collection. We look forward to welcoming our clients to our fabulous new showroom and experience the highest levels of customer service.”

Later this month, on May 29, a new concept store called Mirabella’s Play Café – a softplay centre - will open its doors at Touchwood. Mirabella’s invites parents to relax and indulge in delicious food and drink, be it a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, while their little ones go on an adventure in the soft play – suitable for children aged 0-6 years old. The café will also serve sweet treats including gelato, waffles, and crepes.

Sessions at Mirabella’s run for 90 minutes with bookings available to make online, and walk-ins welcome subject to availability. Offering play dates, private play sessions, sensory sessions, and special events such as birthday parties, the café will cater to all visitors both in opening hours and out of hours for private bookings. Mirabella’s Play Café opens at 3 Manor Walk.

Earlier this year, Touchwood added international brand Mango, eatery Tio Latino, and drinks outlet Bubble CiTea to its shopping centre.
