West Midlands Police are continuing to appeal for information after a young man was stabbed in Smiths Wood, Solihull.

A 18-year-old man was found with serious injuries in Burton’s Way just before 1.40pm on August 24. He continues to recover from his injuries.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area of Shard End, Birmingham, between 7.30am and 2pm, in particular Shard End Crescent, Packington Avenue, Lea Ford Road and Hurst Lane.

Detective Inspector Francis Nock, from our Major Crime Team, said: “If you have any information, no matter how small it is, please get in touch. It could make all the difference to our investigation.”
