10 Solihull primary & secondary schools which have an ‘outstanding’ Ofsted rating

These local institutions received ‘outstanding’ ratings during their latest inspections

On Wednesday March 1, Year 6 pupils across the country will find out which secondary school has offered them a place for September 2023.

Last year, 94.4% of applicants in the UK for a secondary school place received an offer from one of their top three choices, while 83.3% were offered their first-choice secondary school.

It comes as teachers across the country prepare to take more industrial action for better pay. On 1 March, union members are set to strike in the Midlands and eastern regions in England and further walkouts will take place across Wales and the south of England on Thursday.

Solihull has a range of excellent secondary schools as well as primary schools which currently have an ‘outstanding’ rating from Ofsted. We have put together a list of the schools in Solihull which have received ‘outsanding’ Ofsted ratings during their latest inspection.

Schools across the country are regularly inspected by the education watchdog and are graded on a four-point scale. Although they aren’t inspected every year.

‘Outstanding’ is the top rating a school can receive, ‘good’ is second, ‘requires improvement’ the third and ‘inadequate’ is the worst. Primary school applications close on January 15 in Solihull.
