Popular Solihull pub unveils sparkling new look after extensive refurbishment - take a look inside

The popular pub in Solihull has been around since the late 1700s

A popular historic pub in Solihull has a fresh new look after an extensive refurbishment and its ready to welcome customers once again.

The late 18th century pub was known as Olton Hall previously but the new building has been around since the 1930s. Now an Ember Inns pub - The Olton Tavern in Lode Lane, Solihull - has a refreshed bar, new soft furnishings and an improved dining area which gives the pub a warm touch, providing guests with a relaxed, welcoming environment to enjoy their visit.

Located near to Birmingham and Coventry, the Olton Tavern is a great place for families to eat, drink and relax after a long day spent exploring Hatton Country World, the Botanical Gardens or Cadbury World.

Commenting on the pub’s new look, general manager, Adrian Bates, said: “The level of transformation we’ve had is amazing and both the whole team and I are incredibly excited to reveal the Olton Tavern’s new look to our guests.

“Whether you’re looking for a get together with friends or somewhere to unwind by a crackling fireplace, our pub is ready to welcome guests, both new and old, to enjoy our brand-new look — but with the same cosiness it’s always had.”

But, that’s not all, the pub also serves great quality food with a great value fixed-price menu with three courses available for £11.29 from 12pm – 5pm, Monday – Friday and £13.79 after 5pm, Monday – Friday. The pub will offer a tantalising and spicy curry night every Wednesday and a Steak Night that is cooked to your liking every Thursday, as well as full roast beef or turkey traditional dinners available every Sunday.
