Here are the 10 neighbourhoods in Solihull with the lowest estimated average annual household income

We’ve compiled a list of the Solihull neighbourhoods with the lowest estimated average annual household income, based on the latest figures published by the Office for National Statistics.

The total annual household income is the sum of the gross income of every member of the household plus any income from benefits such as Working Families Tax Credit.

According to the data, the average household income for Solihull is £40.7k which is below the England-wide average of £43,960.

The list we have compiled uses figures for so-called Middle Layer Super Output Areas (MSOA) within Solihull and the West Midlands. The estimates were calculated using regional figures from the Family Resources Survey and modelling down to neighbourhood level based on characteristics of the neighbourhood obtained from census and administrative statistics.
