Congratulations to all the runners who turned out to take on the Solihull Half Marathon and 10K this morning (Sunday, August 13).

The weather stayed dry in the main part for the participants who have helped to raise thousands of pounds for charities including Acorns Children’s Hospice and Cancer Research.

Several roads were shut along the route which began at New Road into Malvern Park this morning at 9am. Runners passed through Knowle and finished at Malvern Park in Solihull town centre. Here’s a look at the race with 36 inspiring photos of the runners
