It’s not the first time that a social sports venue has opened in a shopping centre in Birmingham.

The Bullring has got two - Treetop Adventure Golf and the soon to be opened TOCA Social, an interactive football venue, which is due to open alongside the relocated M&S in the former Debenhams store.

There’ll be no more dodging the rain clouds in the park, Sixes is an indoor cricketing experience which caters for everyone, all year round, from Christmas party-goers and stag and hen parties, as well as family groups.

The family friendly venue is available for kid’s birthday parties and corporate events too, it’s the perfect place for your next social get together. Kids are welcome to bring their own bats, but Sixes also has a selection of willow to swing, depending on your level and confidence!

What can I expect at Sixes at the Mailbox?

You’ll be able to swing for the boundaries in three high-tech batting nets before settling into the bar and restaurant to tuck into some delicious cocktails, beers and British BBQ food at Sixes’ fourth clubhouse.

The Birmingham clubhouse will be the fourth venue for Sixes, with two already in London and a third having opened in Manchester in August.

Thanks to Sixes’ state-of-the-art technology, the level of challenge can be scaled up or down to suit the batter at the crease, making it as much fun for an eight-year-old’s birthday party as it would be for the Warwickshire squad’s Christmas party!

Cocktails will include Sixes signatures such as Eton Mess, Ashes Manhattan, Sixes Fruit Cup and Tea Time…after all, what could be more British than watching the cricket whilst sipping on a cocktail containing actual Yorkshire Tea?

To whet the appetite for when the kitchen opens, expect the best of British meats and vegetables, flamed, roasted and grilled on the Robata grill then presented in a relaxed and easy to share format.

The Sixes menu includes low and slow chicken wings, house-smoked sausages to order by the half metre, overnight coals sweet potato, next-level vegan burger, mac & cheese croquettes, smoked chicken Caesar salad and the signature Sixes meat volcano.

Sixes also shows the best live sport at its clubhouses, so settle in and watch the action unfold in the nets and on the numerous TV screens.
