Andrew Sutton, Luna Springs ge, told us: “We’re just putting the finishing touches to everywhere.

“We’re open from Saturday, and then all the way until Christmas. It’s been a massive transformation over the summer.

“If anyone has been here before, it was very much set out with benches - it was a very summer vibe.

“We’ve just had a few events on. And now we come to the winter part. We think it’s never too early for Christmas. There’s a lot of people who don’t think it should kick in until December, but people will be able to come down and ice skate and enjoy some Bad Santa karaoke and sing a long to some Christmas tunes.

“Last year, it was like Christmas didn’t really exist for anyone, and it’s so nice nowt hat you look at this now 12 months on, and we thought - why not kick the party off a bit earlier this year and get things going in October, rather than December.

“We’ve had a few people come round and have a look at the venue - and the feedback we’ve had has been amazing.

“Loads of stuff going on. There’s ice skating -where kids are more than welcome.
