Man injured after being shot in Smethwick on Chistmas Eve

Police are appealing for information after a man in his 30’s was left with non life-threatening injuries after being shot in Smethwick.
Officers were called to the incident on Astbury Avenue shortly before 7.30pm on Christmas Eve (December 24).

Hide AdThe man was taken to hospital with injuries to his head but has since been discharged.
Police have been working to establish the circumstances behind the incident. This includes studying CCTV footage which shows a car making off shortly after the shooting.
