Should Boris Johnson resign as Prime Minister over partygate? The people of Birmingham give their verdict

The Metropolitan Police are set to issue the first 20 fines for Covid rule-breaking at parties

Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer accused Johnson of misleading MPs by previously saying no rules had been broken.

The renewed accusations come as the Metropolitan Police said the first 20 fines for Covid rule-breaking at parties are to be issued.

It is not known if Mr Johnson is among those who have been fined, but quizzed about it later at a Commons committee, he said: "I am sure you would know if I were."

Boris Johnson will face questions from MPs and Opposition at PMQs today.

But what do the public want?

BirminghamWorld asked local people if they think it’s time for Boris to go.

You can find out what they said in the video at the top of this story. Please let us know what you think too.
