Man charged after shooting in Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham

A man has been charged after an alleged shooting earlier this month (December) in the Jewellery Quarter. A man was injured following the incident on December 10 on Frederick Street. 23-year-old Chadrick Peart, has now been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
The force said that the man who was shot did not suffer serious injuries. Peart is now set to appear at Birmingham Crown Court on January 23, 2024. A statement from West Midlands Police, read: "A man appeared before Birmingham magistrates on Boxing Day in connection with a shooting that happened in the Jewellery Quarter earlier this month (December).
