Handsworth woman mailed for distributing terrorism videos

A Birmingham woman has been convicted of distributing videos encouraging acts of terrorism. Thirty-eight year old Aaminah Amatullah from Handsworth was arrested and charged with two offences under section 2 of the Terrorism Act 2006 last November. She will be sentenced 27 January next year.

A fraudster who defrauded a pensioner out of half a million pounds after befriending him has been jailed. Thirty year-old Shahbaz Queshri plead guilty at Birmingham Crown Court due to the overwhelming evidence gathered over a two year long investigation. He was jailed for five years and four months.

Woman who racially abused Broad Street doorman jailed

A 25 year old Sharna Walker who racially abused a doorman in Birmingham City Centre has been convicted of four offences including racially aggravated common assault and sentenced to 14 weeks in jail. Footage of the incident was widely shared across social media platforms and sparked widespread condemnation.
