Sam Smith has announced that they will be playing a concert in Birmingham in 2023 as part of their Gloria tour.  The popstar will be playing several dates in the UK supporting their upcoming fourth album, also named Gloria, set to be released on Friday, January 27, 2023.

The Stay With Me singer said the album will explore their personal journey through “sex, lies, passion, self-expression and imperfection”, adding: “It feels like emotional, sexual and spiritual liberation. It was beautiful, with this album, to sing freely again. Oddly, it feels like my first-ever record. And it feels like coming of age.”

Sam Smith first single off of their upcoming album Gloria, Unholy, has already amassed 300 million listens on Spotify. The song features guest vocals from Kim Petras.

Sam Smith will play their headline concert at Resorts World Arena in Birmingham on Tuesday, April 25, 2023. The concert will be supported by Cat Burns, who will open all of the UK tour datesTickets go on sale at 10am on Thursday (October 27) via Ticketmaster, and are expected to sell fast.
