The manager of the Sainsbury’s store was allegedly assaulted during the theft

Police are looking to trace four men about the theft of £120 worth of wine and an attack on a shop worker in Sutton Coldfield earlier this month.

Between 10.20pm and 10.50pm on Tuesday, 1 February, four men stole wine from Sainsbury’s on Boldmere Road, Sutton Coldfield.

One of the men allegedly punched the shop manager in the face when they were challenged, according to West Midlands Police.

A spokesman for the force, said: “If you’re one of the men, you should go to your nearest police station. If you know who they are, send us a message via Live Chat on our website west-midlands.police.uk.

“To stay anonymous, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 – you may be entitled to a reward. However you contact us, quote investigation number 20/185633/22.”
