Royal Sutton Fun Run 2023: 42 brilliant photos from the Sutton Coldfield event - gallery

Here are some brilliant photos from the Royal Sutton Fun Run on Sunday, June 4

Thousands of people took part in the Sutton Fun Run on Sunday afternoon (June 4).

Runners took to the streets of Sutton in glorious sunshine to take part in the 8.5 mile event, which saw Midlanders of all abilities travel from far and wide to take part.

You might think that running is just for people of a certain ability, background or age. However, the Royal Sutton Fun Run exists to disprove this stereotype. Disability or age is not a barrier for the run.

The Sutton Coldfield event – where the run takes its name from – is organised by Tracey Spare. The event, in which you can run, jog or run, also celebrated its 40th anniversary this year, and thousands of pounds will have been raised for different charities across the country during today’s event.

Spanning different areas of Sutton Coldfield, the run passed through the likes of Sutton Park, through Railway Turn and Cardiac Hill.

Here are some brilliant photos from the run on Sunday.
