Royal Mail issues warning as severe weather cause delays - full list of Birmingham postcodes

Royal Mail has issued a warning that some postcodes in Birmingham will be affected by postal delays due to severe weather and staff shortages. On their website, the postal services has issued a warning on the affected postcodes, as recent amber and yellow weather warnings have caused delays.

The Birmingham Mail Centre has reported that not all mail was processed and dispatched to schedule in the last 24 hours. This will affect some mail posted from Birmingham and sent to other parts of the UK.

Royal Mail said: “Following the recent amber weather warning customers in areas affected by snow and ice may experience some disruption to delivery and collection services. The majority of services are running as usual, but whilst we work to recover service there may be some disruption in parts of the Midlands, North East and North West England, North Wales and Scotland.”

With the weather warnings now cleared from the West Midlands, the Royal Mail say they are back to operating like normal and working to clear any delayed deliveries. These are all the postcodes affected by delays in Birmingham.
