Popular burger restaurant in the Bullring to open in Selly Oak, Birmingham

A popular burger restaurant from the Midlands will be opening its newest outlet in Selly Oak where residents and students will be able to enjoy a new place to try out.

Launched in 2020 during the pandemic, Burger & Sauce quickly became popular. So much so that the first outlet made a turn over of over £1.5 million in its first year and since then they have launched in other locations, including the Bull Ring, Castle Vale, Alum Rock, Kings Heath, Walsall, Nottingham, Derby, West Bromwich, Leicester, Sutton Coldfield and Bearwood Road in Birmingham.

Burger & Sauce will be opening its 12th outlet in Selly Oak in mid -June but customers can order for home delivery via Uber Eats now. The restaurant already has five star ratings on Google.

Situated on Oak Tree Lane on the junction with Bristol Road, it will be run by new franchisee Mr Kareem with the help of 15 new staff.

Mr Kareem who is a qualified solicitor and has a background in property development owns the building which will house the brand new restaurant.

He comments:“I’ve previously worked in catering and events and was looking for a thriving business to take advantage of the 1,500 square foot space we had in the Oak Tree Lane site. I looked at options and thought I could run it myself! I spoke to several other leading QSR franchises, but Burger & Sauce stood out.

“For me, the franchise opportunity made sense as it’s particularly reasonable compared to some of the bigger national brand names and Selly Oak doesn’t have a Burger & Sauce. I’m also a big fan! I love the cleanliness of Burger & Sauces’ restaurants, the customer service plus the great, fresh, food. All the stores are brand new and are really popular. I’m now excited to bring Burger & Sauce to Selly Oak.”

Apart from amazing burgers, they also have wraps, fries, nachos with their signature sauce being the star of the show.
