It’s a wonderful site - more than 2,000 poppies blowing in the wind on a road side in the Black Country in the run up to Remembrance Day 2023.

But these are no ordinary poppies - they have been lovingly made from plastic bottles by people living with a disability who attend Queens Cross Network in Dudley.

The poppies were installed by the side of Hillfields Road, in Amblecote, Stourbridge, on Sunday (November 5). The poppy installation was organised by Dudley borough councillors Paul Bradley, Pete Lee and Kamran Razzaq.
