A £20,000 reward is being offered for information over the death of a man in Tipton last year.

Darren Whitehouse, 43, was killed following a hit-and-run in St Marks Road, Tipton, on the afternoon of 27 February, 2021.

He was hit by a speeding car and was dragged along the street.

Despite the best efforts of medics, he died from his injuries at the scene.

The occupants, of what later was found to be a stolen vehicle, fled the scene after abandoning the vehicle some distance away.

To date, two suspects have been arrested, but no one has been charged.

A statement from Crimestoppers, said: “We are supporting police by offering a reward of up to £20,000 for anonymous information we exclusively receive - via our website or by freephone on 0800 555 111 - that leads to the conviction of those responsible.”
