Poundstretcher has announced a 50% off sale at its stores at The Fort and Kings Heath.
Some shoppers feared that the two stores were closing.
But the discount store confirmed today (Tuesday, March 8) that the stores are not closing down, but instead had a half price sale ahead of new stock and new lines being introduced into stores.

“But we are having an ongoing 50% off everything (yes, absolutely everything!) warehouse clearance, with new stock and new lines added all the time.”

Poundstretcher is renowned for selling cut price household and food items - so the half price sale is likely to see some huge bargains up for grabs.
The company prides itself on offering great deals on well known branded products and has a special line for Easter along with its regular homeware, cleaning, food & drink, garden and outdoor and other lines.
