Poundland to open new shop in Tipton this Saturday

The company is set to open eight new stores relocations and extensions across the UK on 10 December in a “Super Saturday” of openings just in time for Christmas.

Hide AdThe new store in Tipton will be located at 11 Unity Walk, in the former Co-op, with 8,000 sq ft, and employing 16 colleagues.
The opening day event this Saturday will include a ribbon cutting and a golden ticket giveaway with a top prize of £50 of vouchers.
Poundland will also be opening new stores in Denton (Greater Manchester), Peterborough, Llandudno (North Wales), Kent, Aylesbury (Wiltshire), and Craigavon (Northern Ireland) on the same day.

Poundland director of retail, Darren Kay, said: “We’re putting the finishing touches to our new store at Unity Walk, Tipton, and are looking forward to opening our doors on Saturday 10 December, just in time for Christmas. We’ve put a lot of effort into making it a store Tipton can be proud of.
