Keir Starmer and the Labour Party have secured a historic landslide at the 2024 general election, bringing to an end 14 years of Conservative rule.
With 641 constituency results declared, Labour won 410 seats with a 33.9% share of the vote.
The Conservatives won 119 seats and a 23.7% vote share.

Hide AdThe Liberal Democrats won in 71 constituencies with 12.3% of the overall vote, while Reform UK had 14.3% of the vote, translating to success in four seats. Nigel Farage has been elected an MP for the first time.
The SNP has eight seats, Plaid Cymru is on four, Sinn Fein has seven and the DUP has four.
In Birmingham, Conservative MP Gary Sambrook lost his Northfield seat to Labour, while Labour lost its Perry Barr seat to Independent candidate Ayoub Khan. Jess Phillips narrowly beat Workers Party candidate Jody McIntyre to retain her seat in the city as Labour maintained its stronghold in Birmingham.
