Police are appealing to trace a potential witness to a serious assault in Birmingham city centre.

A man in his 40s was left with a fractured skull after being punched in Temple Street at around 12.20am on 20 February.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police, said: “We recently asked the public for information about the crime. We now need to speak to this man who could have important information which would help our detectives.

“It’s important to stress this man is not a suspect. If it’s you, please contact us via Live Chat at west-midlands.police.uk and quote investigation number 20/236840/22.”
