Police are appealing for the public’s help after an elderly man went missing from a hospital in Birmingham.

The force said 76-year-old Crofton went missing from a hospital in Birmingham yesterday morning (22 March).

A spokesman for West Midlands Police, said: “We are really concerned for his welfare and need your help to get him home safely.

“Crofton is described as 6ft 1ins tall with short greying hair. He was last seen wearing a dark coloured jacket, blue jeans, black shoes and a dark cap. If you see him, please call 999 immediately quoting log number 633 of 22/03.”
