Thousands gathered at the Victoria Square Festival site to watch the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games come to a close
There was joy and celebrations in Birmingham city centre as the spectacular Commonwealth Games Closing Ceremony was beamed through a big screen for thousands to watch.
Families and friends gathered at the site outside the Council House which has been the scene of many celebrations throughout the 11 days of sport across Birmingham and the West Midlands.
The crowds cheered as Brummie’s very own Prince of Darkness Ozzy Osbourne took to the stage for a wonderful surprise performance with Black Sabbath and fond memories were made for ever.
