It’s one of the most exciting signings of the January transfer window - and Aston Villa fans could get their first sight of Philippe Coutinho in the claret and blue tomorrow in the clash with Manchester United at Villa Park.

The signing of the Brazilian midfielder and former Liverpool favourite was completed just a week ago on a six month loan deal with an option to buy upon its expiry.

The deal sees Coutinho rejoin Villa boss Steven Gerrard who he played alongside at Anfield - which is seen as a key factor in his decision to join Aston Villa.

Coutinho has posed proudly with his new strip, and was rumoured to be checking out houses in Birmingham ahead of the deal being confirmed.

And it appears that his wife Ainê is equally excited about the move to Brum.

She posted a cute snap of the couple donned in Villa shirts in their bedroom to her 943k instagram followers at @ainee.c

The Portuguese national also showed she is already learning some important local phrases - and added #upthevilla to her post!

It’s had over 110,000 likes since it was posted two days ago.

Philippe met Ainê at a party, she moved with him to Italy to play for Inter Milan when he was 18. They were married in 2012 in Brazil. The couple have two daughters and one son.
