A Wolverhampton Wanderers player has welcomed a baby girl with his fiancee. The happy father shared photos of his child on social media.

Wolves winger Daniel Podence, 27, got engaged to his long-time partner Kayra Biskowski in 2020. The reportedly started dating in 2010 and the Portuguese footballer popped the question a decade later. They have not walked down the aisle together yet.

Previously, Podence shared on social media that the couple were doing stem cell cryopreservation so that their daughter could have a long and healthy life.

They also had a gender reveal party - in what looked like their back garden - with a pink colour bomb going off. The gender reveal took place in November 2022. Kayra can be seen holding their dog in one arm while they enjoy a happy embrace.

They shared an image of an ultrasound scan -in which their baby can be seen - in October 2022.

The longtime couple welcomed their first child together in April 2023. Podence shared an image of the little angel on his Instagram account on April 11, 2023 with the name of his baby: “Pilar Castelo Biskowski Podence”.

In the photo, he can be seen with Kayra as their little girl lies on top of her mom. He shared another image of the little one’s hand with a hospital band wrapped around it.

Top footballers from around the world reacted and congratulated the couple on welcoming their first child.

Süper Lig’s Romain Ghanem Paul Saïss said: “Parabéns” meaning congratulations.

Teammate Nelson Semedo, also from Portugal, said: “Felicidades aos dois” meaning Best wishes to you both. Their team - Wolves - also congratulated the couple.
