Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are unlikely to visit Birmingham to represent the Royal Family any more

Prince Harry has visited Birmingham numerous times and on his latest visit, which took place after his marriage, he was alone on the tour.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s new Netflix documentary, that will release tomorrow (December 8), has created controversy already but there was a time when they were senior members of the Royal Family. Since 2020, they have withdrawn from that role and moved to California, US - which means they would not represent the Royal Family any more.

They are also unlikely to visit Birmingham to represent the Royal Family any more. They might visit for charity in the future but only as private citizens instead of as members of the monarchy.

It is to be seen how much of what the documentary reveals will affect the royal family negatively. However, it is the first time they would be sharing something personal of this extent since the Queen died.

Regardless, the people of Birmingham had welcomed Prince Harry with open arms when he visited in 2019. Here is looking back at his visit:
