Jude Bellingham narrowly missed out on winning the Bundesliga trophy as his side failed to win their last game. Jude, 19, was sidelined with injury, and revealed he was “devastated” at the result in an emotional Instagram post.

Despite the loss, the England international was named Bundesliga player of the season. Now heavily rumoured to be making a move to Real Madrid this summer, Jude has returned to the UK and penned an elusive new deal.

The transfer window is not quite open yet however, but the Birmingham City club legend has signed a contract with McDonald’s to provide free football coaching to children up and down the country. He revealed the news in an Instagram post with a video of himself being interviewed after a kickabout with some starstruck junior ballers. He captioned the post: “It’s official… Proud to join the @mcdonaldsuk #FunFootball family 🤝 First session in the bag, and I can’t wait to sign up for another. Hopefully see some of you at my next one 👀 Give @funfootballuk a follow for more on their free football sessions, or hit the link in my bio to register.”

In the clip, Jude plays ‘stuck in the mud’ with the kids, and goes on to take them through some rigorous drills to improve their skill sets. In the ‘post-match interview’, the Stourbridge-born star said: “It’s always a pleasure to play with such players”. He also recounted the moment one of the young talents, Laura, dribbled past multiple defenders, saying: “It’s an honour to witness such a piece of skill”.

According to the Daily Star, Jude Bellingham will become the face of the McDonald’s Fun Football program, alongside Lionesses star Beth Mead. The scheme aims to provide free, fun, and inclusive football coaching to girls and boys aged 5-11 across the UK and Ireland.

Jude revealed his motivation behind empowering the next generation of footballers, saying: "I want to be able to give back to the game I love and inspire the next generation to play football. It is something I am passionate about and seeing the smiles on the children's faces today showed me how important this programme is.”
