Fancy living in a village where footballers and famous celebrities are often spotted in the local pub? Then, this small village in Worcestershire just 10 miles south of Birmingham city centre might be the place for you.

The most recent celebrity to be spotted there was former Aston Villa skipper Jack Grealish. He visited the local pub and not for the first time. The premium pub is housed in a Grade-II listed building built in 1651 and was refurbished in the 19th century.

Grealish visited the Barnt Green Inn - located in the quiet and idyllic village of Barnt Green - and had a chat with the staff about something unexpected.

On their Facebook page, they shared that the “lovely” Grealish recently visited them. He used to be a regular when he was a resident of the village before moving to Manchester.

The pub said on Facebook: “Jack popped in a couple of weeks ago and him and Tom bonded over their shared love for their Cockapoo’s!”

The footballer’s love for his Cockapoo is well-known as he called his little fluffy dog the love of his life not too long ago. He also knows several guard dogs of the Belgian Malinois breed.

Grealish purchased his first Belgian Malinois from renowned security firm K9 Chaperone in 2020 after Dele Alli’s house was robbed. Since then, he bought two more Belgian Malinois from K9 Chaperone.

Grealish was a resident of the beautiful village in 2021 and he isn’t the only famous person to have lived there. Gymshark co-founder Ben Francis, singer Jamelia and former Villa boss Ron Atkinson - all have been or are current residents.
