International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women - and their financial success is one aspect of it. The special day is marked on March 8 every year to remember the contributions of activists in past generations that helped women get equal rights in the modern world.
Since then, women have come a long way in establishing their talents, skills, and achievements in different industries. From business to arts to activism to sports - women in the West Midlands are excelling in different avenues. Whether taking the lead in football, or campaigning for girl’s right to education, or sharing their business acumen with the world - they are busy and on the go.
They are leading the way for future generations of West Midlands’ women to follow, or make their own path entirely. There are several inspiring women in the region and while wealth is only one marker of success, it is a tangible one.
