Emma Willis has horrified many after admitting that she once had a blended Christmas dinner and enjoyed the taste.

The TV presenter, 46, from Birmingham, explained to the Metro that she once had to be creative with her festive meal because she was suffering from tonsillitis.

The infection causes swelling at the back of the throat and redness, which can make it difficult to swallow food.

Emma made the revelation as she joined co-stars of The Voice Kids, ahead of the show’s return with Ronan Keating as a new judge.

Will.I.Am shared that he has never had a bad Christmas, while admitting that he can’t eat everything that he used to because he now follows a vegan diet.

Emma then explained how she has always been able to enjoy the festive season, despite struggling to swallow food when she had tonsillitis.

The mother-of-three said: “I once had tonsillitis at Christmas, so I blended my Christmas dinner.

“It was f***ing delicious.”

“Like a Christmas dinner shake?” Pixie asked.

Emma replied: “Like baby food.”

This comes after Emma shared with her almost 2 million Instagram followers how she has been preparing for Christmas.

In one post, she is seen trying a selection of treats from an M&S hamper. The mother-of-three gushed that the nibbles would be the perfect snack for when her family are playing games on Christmas day.

Another snap shows the “beautiful” Christmas decorations outside of her home, which racked up over 20,000 likes.

Emma is set to return to screens on Boxing Day alongside Will.i.am, Pixie Lott, Danny Jones and Ronan Keating for the The Voice Kids at 8:30PM on ITV1.
