Emma Willis has horrified many after admitting that she once had a blended Christmas dinner and enjoyed the taste.

The TV presenter, 46, from Birmingham, explained to the Metro that she once had to be creative with her festive meal because she was suffering from tonsillitis.

The infection causes swelling at the back of the throat and redness, which can make it difficult to swallow food.

Emma made the revelation as she joined co-stars of The Voice Kids, ahead of the show’s return with Ronan Keating as a new judge.

Will.I.Am shared that he has never had a bad Christmas, while admitting that he can’t eat everything that he used to because he now follows a vegan diet.

Emma then explained how she has always been able to enjoy the festive season, despite struggling to swallow food when she had tonsillitis.
