Eight famous female fans of Duran Duran: From Jennifer Aniston to Anne Hathaway
Here are eight famous female celebrities who love the Brummie band Duran Duran and their music
Young girls have been behind the fame of many pop bands from The Beatles to One Direction. Many question the fan base’ legitimacy but even Harry Styles and many other stars have acknowledged their credibility.
Styles had defended his fan base to Rolling Stone saying: “Who’s to say that young girls who like pop music have worse musical taste than a 30-year-old hipster guy. That’s not up to you to say. Music is something that’s always changing. There’s no goal posts. Young girls like the Beatles. You gonna tell me they’re not serious?”
For Brummie band Duran Duran aka The Wild Boys as well, female fans have been one of the biggest audiences through the decades. They recognized the power of their fandom a long time ago and have been taking them seriously. After all, it was their passion and intensity that helped the band from playing at The Rum Runner Club in Birmingham to filling out stadiums across the world.
Over the course of their career, especially at their peak in the 80s, they gained immense popularity with young fans in the US and the UK. Many of those young fans turned into famous celebrities down the line and as they went from screaming teen girls to beautiful leading ladies, these actors and singers still love them.
