Duran Duran’s Simon Le Bon is a father-of-3 & a ‘glamfather’: meet his kids, grandchildren

Duran Duran’s Simon Le Bon, 64, has been married for 38 years to his wife Yasmin Le Bon, 58. The couple had a whirlwind romance after the Brummie star saw Yasmin in a magazine. He tracked her down through her modelling agency in 1984 and they married the next year.

Since then, Simon and Yasmin have come a long way. They raised a family together and most of the time, they even live together - even though the children are all grown up. Simon - who referred to himself as “the glamfather” in 2018 in a tweet - is a happy grandfather to his two grandkids.

The high-flying couple have three daughters - Amber, 33; Saffron, 31; and Talullah, 28.

Yasmin has previously described their home as a “mad place” since during the lockdown nine adults lived in their Putney house. Yasmin and Simon, their three daughters, Amber, Saffron, (who lives in a cottage abutting Simon and Yasmin’s garden, with her partner Benjamin and children Taro and Skye), and Tallulah plus boyfriends and Yasmin’s niece. They also have multiple pets.

The couple love having the big family, and are hands-on grandparents as well.

Meet all their kids:

1. Amber Le Bon

The oldest of their kids - Amber is a model just like her mother. She also DJs at private events. She has performed at events from the Victoria’s Secret Show to The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and The British Fashion Awards.

She has featured in editorials with the likes of Tatler, Vogue and Harpers Bazaar and has appeared in campaigns for huge brands like Moschino, Sisley, Pantene and Dolce and Gabbana.

She has dated Mathew Horne, Jared Followill (2010), Daniel Kapp and Jonny Hynes in the past. It’s not known if she’s in a relationship currently.

2. Saffron Le Bon

Saffron, the middle child, has been in a long-term relationship with her partner Benjamin and has two boys - Taro and Skye. Saffron is a musical artist and has given backing vocals to her father’s album Future Past recently.

She graduated from the University of West London (UWL) with a bachelor’s degree in music performance. She was also the first person in her family to have a college degree - something her mother is proud of.

Yasmin said in 2016 to DailyMail: “I’m so proud of her. She worked hard and now has a first-class BA in music performance.”

3. Talullah Le Bon

Simon and Yasmin’s youngest child-Talullah- has followed her mother’s footsteps and has joined her modelling agency. However, she works as a booker at Models 1. She joined The Royal Drawing School for The Foundation Year in 2020. She is a doting aunt to her two nephews.

Taro and Skye were born to Saffron and her partner Benjamin Compston, who is the head of development at Syn World - a music agency.
