There is nothing lovelier than being able to sit under the shade of beautiful spring blooms and catch a break. The sweet and herby smells of this season as well as the many colourful flowers, birds and bees make walks pleasanter and our days more vibrant.

A King’s Fund report found that gardening had diverse health benefits. Being close to nature and outdoors has mental health benefits, according to the NHS.

And NHS research has found that exposure to green and blue spaces has links to improved physical health including a reduction in cortisol levels, blood pressure, cholesterol and increases in self-reported health and there is growing evidence of the benefits for mental health and wellbeing.
